I'm not clear on what you mean when you say wireless adapter is 'missed'. Do you mean you think the adapter is MISSING?

If you have a Transport X1000, you should have the internal wireless adapter. However, it may simply be turned OFF.
To turn on your wireless, just press the Fn and F2 keys at the same time.

To make sure your interenet is secure on a wireless router, consult your owners manual for the device (you can also download the PDF from belkin.com support page if you need.)

You will need to log into the router setup from a connected computer, and in the setup either set a WEP or WPA key. Once set you simply go to your wirless and choose connect to the router and enter the key, make sure you check the box to save the key and then you should be good.

BE SURE to write the key down somewhere for your reference so you don't have to keep changing it if something gets changed on one of the computers.

Adapter for interent

Go to your Device Manager and uninstall the drivers for your Network Adapter, then close all open windows and restart you computer. When you get back to your desktop (main page on your computer) wait for a small window to pop up and tell you that the drivers have installed successfully, then try to get online again.

chances are you're problem is not your router or you ISP (internet Service Provider).. that would be pretty unlikely and weird.

if your computer shuts down when you attempt to connect wirelessly it is possibly that you have driver problem with your wireless network adapter. I would suggest for your to update the driver's from the manufacturer's website by going here (make sure you know your hardware revision)

I cant get my wireless connection to work

Wireless communication "takes two to tango". Your computer needs a wireless adapter, and you need a wireless access point to connect to. Most wireless access points are setup to be secure with a password, and to connect to a secure wireless network you will need that password, and possibly the type of encryption.

You should start by enabling the wireless adapter in your computer, and searching for nearby networks. Please tell me what operating system you have (Windows XP/Vista, Mac OS, Linux, etc).

No internet connection

Have to reinstall ethernet driver. Need to use a usb wireless to get online, then choose search online for driver, or right click the ethernet adapter in device manager and choose device ID and search for driver on another computer and then install it on yours.
