Hello, in order to help you I need the brand and models of items in question. If you can please provide these for me I can help you. Thanks. JimmyC
Maybe you must post the model number of the remote, the TV or item you want the remote to operate,
and I or another fixya tech will reply asap.
Try 21932, might work but i'm not sure.
From other users:
I called Bose to see what the issue could be. After a short discussion
with a top level agent, we concluded that what happens is that your
box’s settings inside the V30 are displaying the menu at a different
resolution than what your Bose system is outputting. Your picture
resolution AND your menu resolution have to be on the same setting, and
it seems that they’re not.
Let’s say your TV is broadcasting at
1080i – everything is fine. Your picture will be consistent until you
access the menu, which is programmed to display at, let’s say, 480p
resolution. The Samsung TV will detect two resolutions, and go to “Mode
Not Supported” because it doesn’t know which resolution to choose. It’s
getting two resolutions at one time. Naturally Bose has to set a
default resolution – and they usually choose the default resolution
based on the most amount of users it will work for “out of the box”.
Your situation requires a little tweaking, and that’s not out of the
ordinary.
The good news is that you can go into these settings,
and the Bose Representative I spoke to said that his team would be
happy to walk you through the process of changing your menu’s
resolution setting to match your picture output. There is a different
menu setting that he can help you with. While you’re on the phone, you
might also have them walk you through setting up your remote to program
the discrete codes (Remote Control codes) so that you can control
everything – including the television with your remote like you want
to.
The toll free number for Bose is 800-367-4008.
I hope help you with this. Good luck.
