Question about Bose Wave Radio
Bose wave radio awr1-1w makes popping sound when you unplug it
Same problem here but I could not find the Q401...do you know where I can find a schematic that could help me locate it?

Considering that power is present, popping sound is caused by a faulty Q401, 5V supply for display.

SOURCE: Bose wave radio won't turn on
Unfortunately Bose will not release their schematics or parts lists, effectively giving them a monpoly on repair of these units. Their web site, www.bose.com, offers to repair most Wave radios for $100 or to provide a $200 allowance towards purchase of a new Wave. Before you spend the big bucks on theis trouble-prone product though, you might want to check out the new HD radios -- better sound and MUCH lower prices than Bose.
