Question about Radio Communications
Welcome to the noisy Ford system. Unfortunally, most electrical items do get picked up in the CB radio. If you want to try to quiet the sitution, I have suscessfully installed grounding straps to the chassis of the vehicle from the problem source, but I will warn you, these attemps can be fruitless most of the time. Another hopeful cure is to add a choke coil ( noise filter ) in line with the positive wire of the CB. I really haven't found that to work well though unless you have alternator niose. Good Luck
