This is definitely a seal problem. Check all seals and replace as required.

Broken Timer? My OLD Kitchen Aid Quiet Scrub Dishwasher no longer advances through cycles automatically--I have to turn the knob manually for every step. It works fine other than that.

Hi Spring

All depends where you are and wether you can get Parts.
Is the timer accessible?
Timer is driven by a small clock motor.
Could it be fixed or lubricated.
Give it a service and save money!
Good luck

My GE Profile Quiet Power 2 is leaking soap suds through the bottom of the door. Any advice what to do?

dishwasher soap does not suds up.you have a different type of soap in there.the only way to remove it is dumping cold water inside then running it. find where the soap came from so it wont happen again.possably the rinse aid?

SUDS COMMING FROM UNDER DOOR OF KITCHEN AID DISHWASHER

This is usually too much soap or the wrong kind of soap.If you are using the recommended amount of the right kind of soap, you may have very soft water, causing excessive suds. Try cutting back on the soap

"clean" light is blinking

Check the following:
1. Is the overfill protection float able to move up and down
freely? Press down to release.
2. Be sure the water supply is turned on to the dishwasher.

3. Check for suds in the dishwasher. If foam or suds are
detected by the dishwasher sensing system, the
dishwasher may not operate properly or may not fill with
water.
Suds can come from:
1. Using the incorrect type of detergent, such as
laundry detergent, hand soap, or dish detergent for
hand washing dishes.
2. Forgetting to replace the rinse aid dispenser cap
after filling (or refilling) the rinse aid, or spilling rinse aid into the tub (rinse aid causes suds to occur).
3. Using an excessive amount of dishwasher detergent.

The dishwasher was full of soap suds but most of the water drain

Suds? If you use dishwashing detergent you shouldn't get suds. If a small amount of sink type dish soap is left on a dish before loading it into the dishwasher this can happen. I would use several rinse and drain cycles with the racks and dishes removed until the suds are gone.

Never use any type of liquid dish soap made for sinks. The same thing that makes suds in the sink will make even more in the dish washer.

Hope this helps!

Dawn detergent in rinse aid dispensor

I did the same. I have run the washer several times but with the rinse aid cup open. Then flushed it by adding water and using a turkey baster to **** the water out. Then used a small amount of liquid fabric softner to reduce the suds. Then flushed it several more times with clear water. The turkey baster will fit into the cup better if you can remove the inside cup cover that dials the amount of dispensing (at least in my brand of dishwasher). I also forced paper towels into the cup opening several times to sop up as much liquid as possible until the indicater light for rinse aid showed empty.  This took some time but by the end of the day, the suds diminished.  Note: I no longer keep Dawn under the sink cabinet where the rinse aid is kept!
