you might need to download the driver software again which you can do so by visiting the Sony official website and searching for your laptop model.

Try to update the driver for your WLAN.

regarding that issue that you are having with the external monitor is not working with your sony vaio here are some steps that might help to have it working

connection between the monitor and laptop
- VGA ( blue adapter ) or DVI ( white adapter )
- check if the connected properly
- try to use a different VGA cable
- check if the monitor is detected by the computer
***please also do a monitor selftest on the external monitor***

- HDMI
- check if the tv is detected by the computer
- check the settings of the TV for the HDMI

For the model # VGNCR320E/P, Sony has not released XP Drivers, but you can try the XP models for the other computer models. I have checked and found that all the drivers of the below mentioned VAIO matches with your model except Blue tooth. So do not install the Bluetooth driver in the below link.

sounds like a dying inverter

if it has a plug for bga ...than it will work with an external monitor...most laptops are working just fine with external monitor..

would you have been happier if you had a 3-year warranty on your machine? I suggest you try to compare between buying a new motherboard to buying a whole new notebook...the latter usually is more reasonable. Again, get an extended warranty

Please check in the Device Manager whether Sony Visual Communication Camera Driver is listed under the "Imaging Devices" category. If it's there and have exclamation mark, please right click on it and Uninstall it. If not listed then download and install the webcam driver from the link given below.

Furthermore, please refer to the help files of the application you're trying to use the web cam with to know how to configure web cam with the particular application.

i'm sure some problems with your dvd lens, first clean your lens with dvd lens cleaner and play after finish tracking.
