Printer cartridge alignment checks

Is this with new cartridges or refilled?

If refilled, the nozzles may have become blocked which isn't the easiest thing to clear. If new cartridges, take them back for a replacement at the store and try again with new ones

I have a canon pixma mx300 printer that has a message check printer 5800 the troubleshooting says to unplug and plug back in that does not work

When you refill your cartridge or do something to your cartridge,
the printer does not recognize the cartridge.. This is what it happened here.

Any solution?? Unfortunately, there isn't any.
Once your cartridge is shorted... that particular cartridge is useless.
You have to replace with new one.
However, you can always prevent what this happens.
1. Always unplug the power cords before take out your cartridge.
2. Same thing applies when you insert the cartridge.
In this way, you can avoid the cartridge shorts with refilling your cartridge. thanks

How do I clean the printer head of my Samsung SF335T? I have just installed a new cartridge and the machine isn't printing.

A machine cleanig test is available under the maintenance menu of the machine. A manual cleaning can be done be cleaning the cartridge with a soft cloth and warm water. also clean the connections between the cartridge and the main head piece ( the little copper connections on cartridge and cartridge tray) if it still does not print, the flat cable is the problem. ALL CLEANING CAN BE DONE WITHOUT REMOVING ONE SCREW.

Installed new ink cartridges and now repeatedly getting error messages about the printhead being loose or missing - which it isn't. Any ideas?

Take out the cartridges, and close the printer. Then open it again and reinstall the cartridges to see if that solves your problem.

No print cartridge message - with brand-new printer

Did this "brand new" printer ever work?
What kind of warranty did it come with?
HP gives their products a year warranty. Your "brand new" printer was probably manufactured in 2005, possibly 2006, so it isn't "brand new".
Does it have a cartridge in it?

Installed new cartridges in Canon i850 and printer seems as though it is printing but does not grab the paper from paper feeder and gives an error (no number). Instructs me to press REsume button and power...

I changed the USB port that the printer was connected to and... VOILA...works like a charm with the new cartridges installed. Not sure what the problem was as windows recognized the printer and the drivers were correctly installed before the new cartridges even came into the picture.

Installed new cartridge in canon pixma mp210 & now can't print

The printer needed to be reset.
Unhook the printer then take out the new cartridges.
try to very gently clean the contacts also make sure the contact on the new cartridges is clean.
Let it dry for a few minutes assembly.
Plug it. My printer is reset by pressing the start button and hold it down until it beeps 6 times.
You can check your manual how to reset yours.
