Hello m_kinsey. I couldn't in good concience answer that question without first asking you some of my own: Why are you replacing it ... is it toast? If yes, then what specifically is your currently possessed/remaining PC component (power-supply-unit, computer case, hard-disk/dvd/cd drives, etc.) inventory (by either specification/capability or make+model+series), ESPECIALLY your CPU chip (or is that fried also)? As is readily apparent, it would be impossible (and irresponsible) to give you advise without at least generally knowing (1) what you have now, and (2) where you want be (goal/need/objective). If you, as best you're able, follow-up addressing at least the last two questions, we can quickly take it from there. "Today's the best day of my life ... and NOW you're part of it!" the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)

Phillips MT1400, saying no video input, what lead is missing

There should be a video cable you connect to the video card and also to the monitor. It should look something like this.

I also notice that it has a TV out. There would also be a co-axial cable output close to the VGA output. That would connect to the TV. If you want to use the TV though you will need the proper software to operate it or expand your desktop to it.

I have a phillips freevent computer, when i turn it on i get a click and it does not boot up, the orange light stays on

on a desktop

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your motherboard to your hard drive make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty

hope this helps
