If the dryer has no hot air, your element is not functioning. It has either gone bad or is not getting power.

How hot is the engine running in degrees f? Does the radiator fan run?
With hvac turned on, check voltage and ground at the blower motor. If good voltage and ground, suspect the blower motor is faulty.

I have a craftsman air compressor, model 919.167620, that will start running and then after about a minute it starts running slower and slower till it stops. it doesn't seem like it runs long enough...

The nonreturn valve that lets the air into the tank is stuck or faulty and not letting the air through, so pressure is building up in the pipe and cylinder and stopping the motor. If you open the back of the valve and run the motor you will know if that is the problem. Stephen.

Fig. Fig. 1: Plenum door vacuum motors

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose at the motor.
  2. Remove the 2 motor attaching screws.
  3. Rotate the assembly so that the slot in the bracket is parallel to the tee-shaped end of the door crank arm, and pull the motor and bracket off the crank arm.
  4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
--- Search for other vacuum motors under the dash to see if the vacuum hoses have somehow deteriorated or become detached. --- Try to look up your vehicle on autozone.com for other vacuum motors under the 'heater' section of the 'chassis electrical' section of the 'repair guide' after selecting your 1996 Ford f250 crew cab vehicle. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/repairinfo/repairguide/repairGuideContent.jsp?pageId=0996b43f8038ebd8

Turn on car and no air is coming out of the vents hot or cold; can here the compressor coming on but not air recieved.

Sir: It sounds like the blower motor is not working. If all fuses are good for the HVAC (Heater Air Conditioning) system then it could be an inoporative blower motor or a blower motor module, you can ddo this by using hot wires to see if blower motors (one hot wire 12V) (and one negative) ground wire. If motor runs, the module may be bad provided all electrical connectors are tight

Your motor is running hot. Air blow it to clean it. Some motors require to be oiled on a regular basis. Check to see if yours is one of them. It helps too to rid your tank of the acumulated water.

Cooling system/ focus 02

I have had to mess with my thermostat housing a lot because of the poor design of the thermostat housing that causes a leak... don't worry about it. keep the system sealed (caps on) and it will eventually purge itself... the coolant reservoir being at the highest point means that all air will work its way to it eventually. it will not harm your motor.
