The fridge thermostat or the electronic control must be replaced.
Parts and part location depend on the fridge model. Schematics are not available for all models.
Parts can be purchased from Liebherr or here: New Liebherr Spares

I have a Liebherr CUPsl 3221 freestanding fridge/freezer. Does any one know what are the approximate temperatures in the freezer area at different settings? (1-7, manual button in the refrigerator are

Their are no direct connections between the number and the temperatures on refrigerators and freezers. Is is based on surrounding temperature, in the room. That is the reason they used numbers and do not mark teperatures.

Fridge is freezing the contents solid even when thermostat set at very minimum.

Possible that the thermostat is faulty and is not regulating the temperature.
Check to see if there is any wire break into the freezer unit of the sensor, check the control, if not change the sensor unit.

Fan not working, temperature too cold

You may need a man. Mine was doing the same, The sensor repair kit costs £35 the labour £60, both plus vat, so that was £109.25 in 2009.

Repair men seem thin on the ground and therefore his traveling time may add up. I believe, repair men pay for a course, and then charge like a wounded bull as they are the only ones that can do anything necessary

Liebherr fridge 3150 keeps freezing

The problem is the thermostat, not the drainhole. The thermostat should stop the compressor when a setpoint temperature has been reached, this gives the unit a chance for a small defrost.

Liebherr frost free fridge/freezer

Try these solutions in these order:
1. Switch off the fridge and leave the door open overnight. Switch it back on in the morning.
Explanation: The sensor inside the fridge gets frozen and cannot control the temperature properly.
2. Switch off the fridge. Unplug it. At the back of the fridge (behind the unit, not inside) there is a large grid. Clean it with a hoover thoroughly. Open the fridge. Dry the back of the fridge if wet (inside the fridge). If frosted wait for it to defrost and then dry it. Plug in the fridge. Switch the fridge back on. This one worked for me.
Explanation: The dust in the grid deprives the fridge from cooling down and the unit can't control the temperature in the fridge section.
3. Switch off the fridge. -Unplug it. Empty it. Turn it upside down. Plug it in. Switch it on for 24 hours. Switch it off. Unplug, return to normal and switch on.
Explanation: This has to do with the pressure of the gas inside the compressor. I have not tried it but this advice as given to me by a qualified electrician when I commented the (in)famous F2 problem in Liebherr fridge/freezers.
Hope it helps. Regards. Albert

Freezer cold but not freezing

Check the settings for the freezer control. Refrigerator temperature control normally controls the run time of the compressor. if the freezer control is set to low the refrigerator temperature will be fine and the freezer will be warmer. Setting the freezer control to a colder setting will hold back more cold air in the freezer and reduce the air volume supplied to the refrigerator. Check and make sure the condenser coil is clean.
