Question about Frigidaire ATF6000ES Front Load Washer

PAU 57 My washer registers flashes between PAU and 57 and won't respond to any control panel controls. When I push start & cancel together it registers ERR and goes back to PAU and 57. This has led to advice regarding E57. I have replaced the door lock and motor control boards. The motor registers correct resistance and so I think I have been on the wrong track. Please advise.

    1) I don't have the technical background to know how to proceed
    2) Is it possible that PAU 57 has nothing to do with Err 57 and that the control board is fried?
    Thanks,

I replaced the control board and it fixed the 57 number.  when I press start and cancel at the same time I get E91 which suggests wiring at the control board is faulty.  Is there a consistent error that is made when replacing?
    Thanks

The control board is the culprit. E75. there are no active control functions at this time. this will require the replacement of the main control board. replacing the main will correct this issue.

This fault referes to the Inverter Registering a High Current and as the motor and lnterlocks are OK check the invereter output both off load and on load. Also check that there are no shorts of bridges on the output. The off load reasistance witht the power off and the motor out of circuit should be very high so check to see if you have alow reading and trace the fault. It may actually be the inverter itself that is causing the problem

E91 suggests that there is a possible wiring fault to the selector as the LEDs do not light up.

ATF8000FS1 washer is stuck in pause. Any suggestions?

Hi friend, thanks for your inquiry!

If your washer continues to display an error code of "PAU" it could be an issue with your door lock but if the door strike is not sitting properly within the latch your washer will continue to provide the error code "PAU". Additionally, if your control panel is registering that the door is closed you may continue to experience the "PAU" code. I would recommend having a professional come and properly diagnosis your washer to prevent any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this is helpful. -OOS

Frigidaire Washer Model #ATF6000FS2 flashes pau

Hello Friend, this is Z. Thank you for allowing me t to assist you!

If your Frigidaire washer (ATF6000FS2) is displaying PAU, it usually means that the door is not securely latched or the cycle has been interrupted. Try pressing "PAUSE/CANCEL" or "START/PAUSE" once to resume cycle. If these basic troubleshooting tips prove ineffective, try reprogramming your appliance by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is necessary to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn your washer on. If the issue persists, then your washer could possibly have a faulty door latch, wiring harness, or experiencing a communication error with the control board. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

Code saids pau

If the PAU error does not clear after properly restarting the washing machine cycle, push "Cancel," then disconnect the power cord. Wait a few minutes and restore power to see if the error code goes away. If not, the control board may need to be replaced.

I think you still have warranty, it sounds you have faulty control panel, even if it's new does not mean it is good.

Keeps saying PAU

The PAU, or pause, error usually means that the washing machine cycle was interrupted and was not restarted properly. If you try to modify the cycle or start a new one before the first cycle is complete, the PAU error will appear on the display. If the washer was stopped midcycle and not restarted, the cycle must be canceled or completed before a new selection can be made. Push "Start/Pause" to allow the current cycle to finish before making a new selection, or push "Cancel" to stop the current cycle

Kenmore 417.44092500 front load window shows Err then flashes LOC and the minutes for the particular load setting. Door doesn't lock. Tried to get into diag code setting on spin/drain and pushing pause &...

The LOC code merely means the control responded and locked the door. You'll find a tech sheet under the top panel of the machine to help guide you thru the diagnostic process, which is fairly involved.

LOC means it thinks the control panel is locked. This gives the ERR indication when you push the buttons. To unlock it you need to hold down the Options and Select buttons together until it reacts.

I know this may seem silly but - On the top right back corner of your washer hit it with medium force with your fist, this helps.
