Problem for Krups XP 1500 Espresso Machine & Coffee Maker
Froth control problems

I have an older Krups II Caffe Duomo type 985. Coffee brew function works OK.
When brewing espresso, the brew function works OK, but the frothing control knob does not seem to work correctly. Steam comes out at the same time the brew function is filling the espresso caraffe. I can shut the frothing off completely, but cannot shut off the brew discharge. as a result, there is no way to froth milk.
This is a new set of symptoms that started after I ran a cup of white distilled vinegar through it to remove any hard water deposits.

- Ive bought this product and to tell the truth never really used it before. I just realized that the frth machine doesnt work at all. Ive followed all the instruction and no steam or hit comes out of it. Can anybody help...- anapaulacotaBest Solution

Your vinegar did the job: it as removed the deposits, now these deposits are clogging the four holes porcelain valve.....if the froth lever is not broken.
Remove all the screw you can see on the top and under the top of it, remove the cover, unscrew the frothing device down to the porcelain valve consisting of two 4 holes discs, clean them, and voila!
