Use a manometer to insure lp gas pressure is correct. The regulator for the stove may need adjusting. The air mixture adjustment may not be correct for PL as well.

Orifices burner flame adjusted

Most burners have an adjustment under the knob. Pull off the knob and use a slender flathead screwdriver. Turn burner down to low, insert screwdriver into knob shaft and rotate internal screw until flame is at "simmer" height. Can adjust each burner separately this way.

I replaced the burners, part #80018594, in my Commercial series grill. Do I need to adjust them?

Normally, I would say know, if they are exact replacements. However, the only way to know is after you light the burners and check the flame colors and heights. For propane gas burners, the screw on each burner should be all the way in. For Natural Gas, about 2/3rd's of the way in.

If you tank has bee turned OFF during repair. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY aSlow Motion, slow) until the valve is fully open. Then light the burner farthest from the tank first and turn it to high. Does the flame height and color look correct? If so, light the remaining burners the same way. Do all the flame heights and colors look correct? If so, you're ready to start grilling with your new burners.
If not, turn the burners OFF and Let them cool completely, before making any adjustments.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know and Happy grilling!!

Gas fire place flame to low, do you have a schematic to increase the flame ?

Generally, whether it's a Vent-free or Vented fireplace, lower than normal flame height is caused by 3 things: Low Gas pressure; The air shutter control valve is clogged or needs adjusting; The burners need cleaning.

I haven't seen a unit in the past 10 years, that has a flame height adjustment, other the flame height control knob, that's part of the control assembly. Have you checked that, to see what height it's turned to low?

Perhaps, if I knew who the manufacturer was and the model number, I could be of more help to you.

Gas Flow Problem

Replace the regulator and hose assembly that screws onto the propane bottle. I had the same problem on two patio heaters and my 4 burner grill. You can get regulators and hose at Home Depot, Lowes, Northern, probably Meijers, etc. Check the fitting on the end of the hose for the correct gender, male or female, size, and hose length. You can get a fitting in the plumbing department to change the gender.

I can all but give you money that this will fix it.

Burner flame height adjustment

All ignitors will always arc whenever one of them does.

I haven't worked with propane systems much, but it seems you may need the propane pressure regulator adjusted.

If the problem is only with the power burner, I would ensure that particular orifice was actually changed. The hole in a propane orifice is smaller than for natural gas.

Burner flame adjustment

there are two considerations for burner height. 1) the gas adjustment screw on the knob and 2) the gas-air mixture to the burner. establish a flame and adjust the screw for a standing flame at the burner. adjust the gas-air ratio orifice so that the flame has no yellow tips.
