If that was my laptop i would back up anything important then format the drive and give it a nice fresh install of windows seriously.

1- Scanning computer to eliminate malwares, spywares and the viruses from your laptop.

First thing to do is to scan your system using some powerful antivirus program. Now fix a freezing computer by:

-- cleaning system junk
-- optimizing computer services
-- optimizing internet
-- repairing registry
-- defraging registry
-- clearing browsers junk

do these things with some secure tool such as Intel Software Partner Reginout.
