The OS installed properly, then after that i go to desktop prepeties and resize the desktop and then my computer hang, i wait for 10 minutes hoping that it will run again but its not. I decided to restart my computer, after restarting windows cannot recognize my hdd anymore but the set-up recognize my hdd but the name of my hdd is blingking. what is it all about? is there anyway that i can use my hdd again? how? ay software that i can use? hope you could help me with my problem. thanks fixya.
Windows uses NTFS file system.
you need to enter a boot disk/recovery disk/windows xp disk into your CD drive and in the system BIOS select the CD drive to boot first. Once the CD has loaded you can re-format your HDD to NTFS and re-install windows
You will, however loose all your data but your HDD will function again with windows
