Question about HP w1907 LCD Monitor
I have an HP w1907 monitor less than a year old - so still under guarantee - the screen of which has started to flicker and turn very pink intermittently. Is it about to fail and should I dismantle the system and take it back to the seller? Or have I just loosened a plug somewhere....
A flickering screen with pink colour is a sign of a CCFL lamp problem.
The CCFL lamp is a mini fluro tube and it provides the back-lighting, it is definitely faulty and about to fail completely.
You need to get it repaired while it is still under warranty.
