Why does my t.v.not store programmes after digital auto tuning

If you're dioing a rescan, then all it is doing is refreshing the existing channel slot frequencies from the last time it went and found channels. The big retune has moved a lot of channels. You need to do a Factory Default / Shipping Condition / First Time Installation scan. This blanks the TV's channel memory and starts again.

Retuned my humax box and my west channels are now wales how can i change them back

You will need to manually tune to your preferred transmitter. The Humax will tune to the first decent signals it finds, so if signals from the Welsh transmitter are good and found before the transmitter you want, it will use them.

Or, you may be able to unlpug the aerial, start the auto retune, then replace the aerial after about 25% of the scan completes. You may need to adjust the % before replacing the aerial to ensure that only (and all) wanted channels are received.

Problem retuning Sagem PVR6240T set top box

Hey Agoodwin,

Looks like you have missed the final software updates for the PVR72xx and 62xx series last year. The bad news is that Sagem are not likely to send another update for their old models. If you check your box settings and you have software version 0.4.5. or less, your box will probably not work again. Sorry, mate...
