Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies
I tried it both with my Snow Leopard mac laptop, and my OS 10.5.8 laptop and I experienced the same problem: It will only print out the first page, then stalls and the red light blinks. The LCD monitor says: LOAD CORRECT PAPER, CASSETTE: LTR - but the only paper in the cassette is A4, which is the type of paper I chose in the settings of the printer before printing anything.
This problem usually comes from your printing program (Word or Adobe or something else).
Change the settings: File-Page Setup-A4 (not letter).
It should work then.

Its the problem of the faulty paper sensor .once you power the printer the sensor unit resets so it prints one page but for second page to print it should auto reset and detect paper but thats not happening.so again after turning the printer ON and OFF it will reset and again print only one page.because the sensor does not reset automatically.it does not detect the paper for second print and starts blinking red light and you get the load correct paper message.
To fix this you will have to open the printer and get it serviced and check the sensor and if necessary re-solder the sensor junction on the board or replace the sensor assembly.
thanks, keep updated and please rate the solution positively.

Tips for a great answer:
Jan 12, 2014 | Canon LBP6000 Laser Printer
An Intel Mac
OS 10.5 (Leopard) or later (including snow leopard, lion, mountain lion and even mavericks)
there IS a fix: Just download the free Vuescan software for Mac, then use it to scan with the MF4018.
Go to: http://www.hamrick.com
Download Vuescan for Mac OS X
Install it, and start the application. It will recognize any scanners attached.
NOTE: If Vuescan asks you to identify your printer, you will not see the MF4018 listed. Choose the MF4010 instead - the 4010 and the 4018 use the same drivers.
