Question about Acer Aspire 5670 Notebook
Just remove the battery
a bad battery disconnects your keyboard from windows
all so you buy a new computer

This is a problem with Windows drivers, if I use Linux EVEN if the
battery is bad, I can still use it like nothing happened, of course,
using AC connection, but then, I don't need to remove the battery at
all. In Windows I do need to do that. So the only real "fix" under
Windows is by buying a brand new battery.
TIP: you can connect your "almost dead battery" into Windows, just connect if it hangs, disconnect it (w/o power off, you need to use AC power) for 10 seconds, then connect it, now you can use normally w/o any hangs from bad battery (bad drivers).
