Question about Samsung HLN5065W 50" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
Depends largly on how much electronic experience you have! Replacing the DMD board is not difficult, getting to it is another story. Then there's the problem of setting the index if it's not correct. Say, for example, you have the common problem of an inverted picture. Merely enter the service mode, under options menu (Ddp1010 Or 1011), and adjust the V-flip - if that doesn't correct the problem then replace the DMD board. But it's more about how experienced you are at electronics than how easy the job is - - on a scale of one to ten with ten being the most difficult for me it's a four or five but for someone with no experience it's off the scale...
