The overload/relay , mounted on the side of the compressor , is defective . This piece , has 2 or 3 wires going to it . You can easily replace , with pt # 8201786 . Installation instructions , come with the part . If you have an amp meter , after replacing the part , check the compressor run amps . If 3.0 or higher , then not much compressor " life " left . Also , dirty coils under the refrig , will also cause the amps to rise . Be sure to make sure they are clean .

The thermal switch is going bad it is a easy fix unplugh the refriderator and buyt this part from this online store http://www.appliancepartspros.com/Appliance-Parts/FRIGIDAIRE-Puresource2-water-filter--wf2cb--item-number-AP2538969.aspx
or you may need the thermal switch on the pump but need model number to find a replacement for it.

Knocking noise coming from bottom of refrigerator

check the compressor for operation adn check the fan in the back of unit to make sure it is running...whirlpool units are notorious for compressor relay failure normally they click in and out every few minutes... if it is a knocking noise and continuous make sure compressor is not trying to start and sitting there shaking... normally it will stop after a few minutes and then start again....

Weird clicking noise and computer freezes.

Laptops have very few moving parts. Your problem is more than likely either a fan or your hard drive. Remove the hard drive, start the computer up and just let it run for awhile. If the clicking noise never comes up then thats your problem. If it does, its probably a fan.

Disregard anything on the screen itself, just let the PC run. It sounds like after the hard drive has been spinning for a minute a motor starts to die.
