The Volume knob malfunctions

That once happened to me when I had the akai ms600 audio shelf system, when I try to turn the volume down, it malfunctions, even when I do it slightly. Usually it has something to do with the amplifier, it may be trickled or effected.

Alright so that happened to me too and provided that you have the white piece (small, fits right into the black piece coming out of the speaker, and put it about half way on the black portion, turn it a little and the volume should decrease. Take it out and do it again until the volume gets to where you want it (bote this is only if the turning part came off, the black part sticking off is still there and you wish to turn down the volume but cant)

Actually I never figured it out. I have opened up the stereo and tried my best to see if I can fix it myself but the parts looked too compact to get to. Gave up and gave the stereo away to a friend...that knew about the problem, of course. lol. They use remote.

Many thanks for taking the trouble to reply. Guess I'll just have to persevere with mine or get a new one. Regards.

Assuming your receiver came with the ability to be remotely controlled, then yes, a universal remote such as the Logitech Harmony etc, will be able to control the volume.

Set clock on a jvc kd-r330

It's very simple even if you don't have the owners manual.
Step 1: Hold in the Menu button until "DEMO" shows on the display screen.
Step 2: Scroll with the volume knob until it says clock. Then press the volume knob to select it.
Step 3: Scroll with the volume knob until it says "CLOCK SET." Then press the volume knob again.
Step 4: Then adjust the hour first by scrolling with the volume knob. Once the correct hours shows press the volume knob and it will move on to the minutes.
Step 5: Once the hour and minute is chosen push the menu button again to finish the procedure.

The contacts in the volume control encoder are dirty. If you know what you're doing, it can be taking apart and cleaned, otherwise replace the volume control.

How do i get my jvc kd-r210 out of demo mode?

Press and hold the volume knob until it changes to a menu setup, by pressing the knob again once it should cycle to another option, keep pressing the knob until you get to DEMO. when you get to DEMO turn the knob as if you were turning the volume up or down and it should say DEMO OFF. there are many useful options in this menu, like sub control for low pass filtering, display options, turning the beep noise off/on, loud off/on, clock settings, and a few more
