Question about Zebra TLP 2844-Z Thermal Label Printer
You can use the previous solution, but you will need a driver to convert the text to ZPL, which is the programming language the printer uses. So, if you use word, download the printer driver from Zebra's website, http://zebra.com/id/zebra/na/en/index/drivers_downloads.html
and select this model. Then when you print from Word, you can select this printer to print.

Just like you would any printer. You could use word but word by default is set for a 8.5x11 full size paper so it must be configuared under file, page setup. Your label size gets entered and margins are zeroed out, or use the free label software called zebra designer which can be downloaded from this link.
