Question about Dell E228WFP LCD Monitor
I have a similar problem on my E228. I opened it to discover the power button was broken. Specifically the switch itself was fine and if you pressed it, the monitor worked but the plastic button that presses on the switch was bad. The part that lights up has a little plastic "ear" which presses on the switch. The ear is not well supported and broke off. Hopefully there is a similar part on one of my other Dell monitors.
