I think I have the same problem. My cd's were not being fully loaded into the the reader. It kept going thru the cd's 1 by 1, and would never play them. I took off the cover, and found a spring in the bottom of the unit, probably has to keep some type of tension on the load/unload arm to push the cd's in all the way..Is there a way to take a pic or schematic and send it to me to help identify where it goes ? It's easy to say to hook it up when it's hooked on one end already, in this casy, it was in the bottom of the unit, and I have no idea where it can go.

Thanks for your excellent support !!

Small red clip appeared on rim after being off balance. spring attached.

There is a small red clip that holds a stabilizing spring (notice items 7 & 8 in the graphic) which attaches to the top of the tub cover at the front, left side. You might be able to push the tub assembly to the back, right corner to better see this, but it is easiest to reinstall with the top of the machine removed. If the clip is broken or the spring stretched they will need to be replaced. The unit can work without these parts, but is more likely to experience out of balance problems.

How do I reattach the top washer spinning wand on my dishwasher? It was knocked off by an object in the top tray. It is attached to the top of the washer case, above the rack. The washer is a Frigidaire...

Hey friend, that's a great question!
From the information you have provided the wand fell of the top of your Frigidaire dishwasher and you want to reattach it. Normally, the arm screws in. If your arm will not attach properly it could be damaged or the piece it screws into could be damaged. I would check over to make sure there are no cracks or damage done to the arm. Best of luck! -Matt

Upper spray arm failure

Easy to solve!
(1) Remove the drawers to give yourself room to work
(a) bottom drawer just comes right out -- but you knew that
(b) Carefully unclip small plastic retainer caps at the ends of the metal "glides" for the top drawer. Then slide the caps out of the glides. Then remove the top drawer.
(2) Unscrew the "gear-like" plastic fitting into whose hole you were sticking your finger when you felt that small cylindrical ring.
(3) Now that you've got access to the ring, the solution is obvious -- use it to snap the upper arm back into the gear-like fitting. When you're done, the arm will rotate freely in the fitting.
(4) Put everything back together and enjoy the fact that you didn't have to pay some yobbo $75 to come to your hous and do this for you!

(HINT: When screwing the gear-like fitting back into place, use the old machinist's trick of pressing gently and screwing backwards until you feel a click. The threads will now be aligned for you to screw things together the right way. If you do not do this, you might experience frustration reattaching fitting -- since the piece it screws onto is spring loaded.)

Upper rinse arm fell off. How does it reattach?

usually it will clip to the basket that holds cups and the like, and engages with the water outlet when the basket is slid into position. Some spray arms have a locking ring that, when the spray bar is held in place, rotates clockwise (if viewed from underneath) and locks the spraybar in place.

It fell off

If you are unable to put it back on while the nut is still attached to the inside of the dryer, reach in and unscrew the upper arm nut. Remove it, reattach the arm to the white plastic piece and reattach the entire assembly by screwing the nut back onto the inside of the dishwasher. Very simple to do and doesn't take much strength at all. In fact, I'm usually the one that has to do it at our house, not my husband, because I can reach in and do it without removing the top rack where as he would have to remove the top rack because his arms are too big.

The upper assembly rotating cleaing arm fell off, it does not appear to be broken in any way but we do not seem to be able to reattach it

Hi there.
Look in the bottom of the tub and in the drain pipe for the plastic screw that attaches rotor arm to the top of the tub.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

Woolpool Duet Washer fast clicking

If it does not start the clicking noise is coming from the water distribution lever on top of the soap dispenser assembly. Take the top off. On the left hand side you will see a teardrop shaped piece of plastic with an arm attached at one end an a motor attached to the other. There is a stopper that is supposed to stop it from going too far and it has likely jumped over the stopper. Gently remove the arm from the teardrop and reposition it over the stopper then reattach arm.

I had the same problem with mine. Turn the center disk counterclockwise until it unscrews completely and reattach the stirring arm.
