That motor has a low oil shut off on it. As the motor warms up, the oil thins out and spreads through out the motor and if it's low or you have bad flow, the sensor will trip the motor off and then the oil will re-settle during down time allowing you to start back up. Had the same motor on my scag. If you haven't already checked the oil level, try replacing your filter. While you are at that, check your hydro level as well. You should change that at about 1000 hours, but check it's level. Check your air filter...For those zeros, follow mfg. reccomended maint. on them and it will save you headaches. I ran a lawn and landscape company and I did daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly maint on all my equipment. If you are just one to mow on weekends, you should still check over the machine each time you start it up and allow it to warm up for at least 5 minutes before taking off with it.

That should be covered in your manual. I'm not sure what a zero clearance mower is actually, are you assuming and making up a name for it?

My Snapper 48" zero turn is running batteries dead. I just replaced the battery cut my yard once and the battery is dead. What are some possibilities?

The charging circuit is faulty and is not charging the battery when the engine is running. Best case is a bad connection or frayed cable, worst case is a faulty alternator.

I need to find out what the voltage output and the miliamp output is on a toro z4220 mower my battery keeps going dead i have replaced it once already Thank yoy

You should have around 13.1 volts at the battery as the engine runs. If its 12 volts or lower - check or replace the voltage regulator. To check the regulator, stop engine, remove regulator plug, get a ohm meter and put the black lead to any ground, and touch the red lead to all the terminals one by one on the voltage regulator - you should get 3 readings - one lower than the other. If you dont get any readings - the regulator is definitely bad

Bike cranks and runs fine, then for some reason the battery goes dead, I jump it with a quick jump and it starts and runs, I can run it for a few minutes, turn it off and back on starts great, battery may...

Sounds like an alternator or charging problem.
Check to see if you are getting around 14v on your battery with the engine running.
If not you will have to investigate your alternator etc.
