Question about Garden
That motor has a low oil shut off on it. As the motor warms up, the oil thins out and spreads through out the motor and if it's low or you have bad flow, the sensor will trip the motor off and then the oil will re-settle during down time allowing you to start back up. Had the same motor on my scag. If you haven't already checked the oil level, try replacing your filter. While you are at that, check your hydro level as well. You should change that at about 1000 hours, but check it's level. Check your air filter...For those zeros, follow mfg. reccomended maint. on them and it will save you headaches. I ran a lawn and landscape company and I did daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly maint on all my equipment. If you are just one to mow on weekends, you should still check over the machine each time you start it up and allow it to warm up for at least 5 minutes before taking off with it.
