Question about Campbell Hausfeld Air Tools & Compressors
This is very hard to do but not impossible. The problem is the rod journal is pressed on the motor shaft. You have to remove the coils / rear end of the motor and carefully place the rotor in a vise. Use a steel rod and hammer to gently force the crank off the shaft by hitting crank from rotor side thru vent holes of front motor housing. It will not be easy and you could easily damage shaft, crank or rotor. (but what the heck, it does not work anyway) If your are successful and able to replace bearing, press the crank back on using loctite then drill 1/8" hole thru crank into shaft and drive in a roll pin.
