Make sure that your memory card is not in the lock position or protect position.

Make sure the memory card is switched to write position and not the lock position. More information would help.

The camera says in the screen that the card is locked The memory card is locked and I cant figure out how to un lock it is in the set up or what do I do ? my camera is EXILIM 8.1 Mega Pixels

I've never fiddled with this brand of camera, but there will be the option to lock the pictures in the menu. In your manual, look for "memory", "locking your pictures", things like that. Also, some memory cards have a plastic tab that slides to lock the card- make sure that isn't in the lock position, if your card has one. Good luck, and hope this helps.

How to unlock a picture

Go to the playback menu and select it (you may have to adjust the circular option know to get to the playback menu). Once there, scroll to the picture(s) that are locked by using the sideways selection arrow buttons. Then select the up or down arrows, which will lock or unlock your picture. You can also erase any locked pictures, in case you want to, by formatting the xD card. Hope this helps.

The camera file is locked

not sure what you are asking? but most cameras have a little key picture on settings or pback of camera, if you want to protect photos from accidental erasure you push that button and it locks the file, when you view photo on camera it will show a little key in upper right corner of the picture. just a shot

When i try to take pictures my camera says card locked.

It's the memory card or SD card you have in the camera. (it sounds like)
Try taking the SD card out and if you look at it closely there is a little switch/ thing you can slide. Slide it to the other side, put it back in your camera and try again. Hope that helps

Sd card not working

Check to make sure you didn't accidentally move the locking switch on the SD card to the locked position. There will be a switch on the side of the card. One side of the switch says locked, (or has picture of a locked lock) and the other side says unlocked, or has a picture of an unlocked lock. Try it out.

check to see if theres a lock on the pictures or a lock on the memory card.

by lock i mean a stub that prevent writing to it.

Preview Picture - Locked Up

Eventually, the camera's battery will die. I suggest removing the battery and then wait for 30 seconds and put it back in. This should solve the problem.
