1. If you mean speaker being mute, get in to control panel and sound and audio device.
2. If you mean the sound adapter is being disabled, go to control panel choose system. choose hardware and go to device manager. look for your audio adapter, right click and choose enable.

Can't get any sound from it FROM SAMSUNG TV PLEASE

If you plugged the soundbar in to the back of the tv then you may have automatically disabled the sound from the TV. You'll have to hit the menu button on the TV and go the the Sound/Audio menu to see it the TV speakers are enabled or disabled. If you enable the TV speakers then the output to the sounder will turn off. I'm assuming you don't want that.

How do I fix my realtek speakers? They play sounds and music but while doing so the sound icon in the taskbar is showing movement from bottom to top with sound increasing as it goes upwards?

Open Device manager and right click on "Realtek HD Audio"
Select 'enable'
Right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select 'Playback devices' ensure that Realtek is checked as the default speaker device
Right click alongside the speaker icon and make sure they are not disabled
Use the 'Test' facility to check the audio
You may have to update the driver as well

I just bought the sx205 receiver and hooked my speakers up.There is no sound coming from the speakers.

Check the front panel for switches that enable/disable the speakers. When enabled, there should be indicator lights that are on.

Speakers disabled

Right click on my computer, click on manage, then a new window should open up. In that window to the left there should be a section labeled Device Manager. Click on it, look for Sound, video and game controllers, and re-enable your speakers. Should work from there.

I hooked up my toshiba laptop to my samsung flat screen but the sound is comming from laptop not the TV

If you have a sound output/headphone jack you will need to connect it to your Television as well. If it is already connected go to your taskbar, right click on the speaker icon and click Playback Devices.
Once in the Playback devices menu, you should see one device called Speakers and one called headphones. Make sure headphones are enabled and Speakers are disabled. If you cannot see headphones, try right clicking anywhere in the box and make sure that Show Disabled Devices is enabled.

Speakers disabled!!?? help please

How you did the disabled, same way you can make enable.

Ok first make a check whether you required a driver or not. Follow these steps:

  1. Goto control Panel
  2. Double click on System Icon
  3. Then Click on Hardware tab
  4. Click on Device Manager.

It will open the device manager window. In this window see carfully, if there is any component with yellow marked icon, then you have some missing driver, means you have to re-install the drive. If there is any component with Red marked icon then you have disabled this, means you have to make it enable for work. Just right click on that red icon and select Enable from the pop-up appeared.

And to re-install driver goto your manufacturer site put model no. and make search, they will give you the link for download.

If any problem just Ask me.
