Lots of suction, but G3 won't pulse or move around pool

I have the barracuda G3, it's got plenty of suction, but now won't pulse or move...I've checked for debris and there is nothing...

Theres a throat in it. Its damaged or ripped take a close look at it . you can gey at your local pool store

Also have a G3 that has lots of suction but will not move. Replaced yellow throat, no change. Replaced bottom plastic assembly, no change. After $60 worth of parts think this is ready for the graveyard. Wont ever get another one.

There is either debris in the diaphragm or the diaphragm is worn out.

It's the yellow flexible part that creates the pulsing action for this vac.

Barracuda has plenty of suction but hardly moves around the pool, goes very slowly
You likely just need a new pad on the head. When they ware down they allow the head to get closer to the surface that it's cleaning, but the additional suction makes it difficult for the head to move.

With these pool cleaners, it is probably debris caught in flapper that is causing the lack of suction. Check all places in your flapper and clear away any debris.

Barracuda not moving
You could have too much suction, something stuck in the diaprahm, a torn diaprahm could do this or if it is sticking to the drain you will have to shut the drain down.

Barracuda don't move
what do you hook your vacuum to in the pool? does it have suction? it may be clogged. if so you can blow it out if you have the equipment. it may be you don't have enough suction and all you need to do is adjust one of your suction side valves to fix this problem. if you don't have dedicated valves you can plug one of you other suction lines to give your vacuum more suction.

Barracuda not bouncing or moving to clean pool
Check suction at cleaner. Could be broken hose, bad or dirty impeller, incorrectly set valves, dirty filter, clogged line and probably a bunch more things.

G3 is not moving, but has suction? Please advise.
I had the same problem. come to find out there was somehting stuck in the diaphram. (a piece of mulch). Once I removed it, everything worked fine. Take your Barracuda apart and check the diaphram for blockage.
