Flash problem

The only things I can think of that could go wring with this camera are:
Batteries are not fully loaded or not new. When not having enough power the flash can't be charged enough, so it won\t fire.
the second thing could be you dailed in the wrong setting. The setting is for full sun light and yu are taking pictures inside. (not likely.)
The film package you are using is out of date or was stored wrong. (not likely eighther)
The flash (camera) is defect

My lcd display won't show the camera image while taking pics but it will show the menu and previously taken photos by pressing the play button. What could be wrong?

Turn the camera on, and press the DISP button on the back of the camera. This turns the LCD screen on and off. The idea of this button is to save battery power (you would then use the peep hole optical viewfinder in its place).

Camera is stuck with lens out and won't turn on or

If this camera takes ordinary batteries you may have inserted them the wrong way around.
If it takes a rechargeable pack recharge it for average time recommended and try again.

The camera was plugged into the wrong charger and now it won't do anything. is there any way to fix it? it is a Kodak M893is.

Now it looks like you have a problem here. Different cameras/chargers have different polarities. If you try to charge with wrong chargers then there is a possibility of the batteries getting damaged or sometimes may even explode, so be very careful in future. Some times the power control board can also get damaged and may require repairs. At this juncture you can try hoping for the best to replace the batteries. On many occasions this has solved the problem.

I have a polaroid i936 digital camera, it flashed change battery, replaced with new batteries and now it won't power on.

you may have placed the batteries the wrong way, or the batteries are empty. Or the contacts are not touching or may be dirty - clean them with the eraser end of a pencil.

Camera turns off itself

This is likely because:
  1. You are using the wrong types of batteries (Alkaline, Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries are recommended for digital cameras) NOTE: don't mix different types.
  2. The battery is out of charging cycles and won't retain charge. (Most rechargeable batteries can be charged only about 1000 times after which they won't hold charge)
  3. The batteries aren't 'powerful' enough. (low quality rechargeable batteries with low capacity shouldn't be used on digital cameras, Always buy batteries specialized for cameras (from camera stores or studios))
  4. The wrong battery type is selected in the camera's settings. (Most cameras let you select the type of battery you are using from it's settings. Browse through the settings and see if this is the problem)
Hope that fixed it. Good luck.
