Problem for RCA RS2652 Shelf System

My stereo will not read the disks!

ive had this stereo for a few years now. ive never had a problem with the fm radio but always have with cds. it will not read any type of cd. it will just blink for like 2 minutes saying reading then it will say error no disk.. the cds are brand new with no scratches! ive cleaned the stereo inside and out! how do i fix it!
