Re: coins stuck in tumblers on my Nebtune Dryer

Try calling a local repair man they could probably take it apart and take it out.

Oh your bringing me back to the early days of my appliance repair career when i only serviced coin operated washers and dryers. Not in the coin box but the cover on top where you would get access to the timer is a bolt that holds the coin slide to the coin box asm. remove that bolt(if i remeber from 25 years ago its a 5/16th inch hex head and brass colored) and the coin slide will come out and then gotta kinda genlty presuade it in with a hammer so the coin will drop through or pull on the handle ya would push, to free it up and remove stuck coin

We have a bosch front load stackable dryer that has coins stuck in the things that go around in the dryer, can we get them out?

You'll have to remove the top panel so you can loosen the baffles and get your coins out. Either that or take the back panel off and remove the drum altogether, which ever you find easier.

The tumbler makes a terrible noise - I'm sure it's just a coin or a screw rattling around in there. I can't figure out how to get inside to look around the tumbler to see what it may be. And once...

Open the door and look inside - yes, you can see everything inside the drum. Sometimes buttons, especially the metal ones on denim pants, can make a pretty good racket.

If you don't find any foreign objects inside the drum, and the dryer makes noise even when it's empty, it may be time to change the drum rollers or the belt tensioner pulley. It's also remotely possible that there's something batting about in the blower housing, but if that is the case, it would probably be a screw or something broken off of the ductwork, or the blower itself is loose on the shaft. Post back if you need instructions for checking the mechanism underneath the drum.

Tumbler belt came off

  • Unplug your dryer from the electrical outlet. Remove the lint trap by lifting its cover and sliding it out. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the two screws that hold in the housing of the lint trap.Lift up the top panel of the dryer and take off the holder for the door switch wire. Look for the screws that hold in the front panel of the dryer, located on top of the front panel, and unscrew them. Take the panel off the dryer by lifting it off.Look inside the dryer, find the broken dryer belt, and before taking it off, note the way it is routed around the pulleys, then take it off. Install a new Whirlpool dryer belt by slipping it around the tumbler with the grooves facing the surface of the tumbler. Ask an assistant to hold up the tumbler while you move the belt into the proper place, aligned with the black line around the width of the tumbler.Wrap the new dryer belt around the pulleys as noted in Step 3. If you don't remember how, or the old belt was snapped and not aligned properly, look at the dryer belt diagram in your user's manual.Align the front panel of the dryer with the tumbler. Put back in the two screws that hold the panel in place. Open the door of your dryer and with your hand, turn the spinner one time counterclockwise. Reconnect the holder for the door switch wire, being careful that it doesn't touch any moving parts.Use the screwdriver to carefully position the rubber seal along the back of the tumbler. Make sure the seal is on the outside of the tumbler and that none of it sticks to the inside of the tumbler.Slide the lint filter and housing back into place, and screw in the two screws that hold it in. Plug the cord of the dryer back into the electrical outlet and check that it spins properly.

The dryer when started sounds like theres a rock rolling around in it, Doesnt seem to dry the clothes.

You will need a qualified LG technician to diagnose your problem. They will have to disassemble it and see what the problem is.
    Good luck.

Coins stuck in Maytag Atlantis dryer. Could

    . U1. Unplug the washer.
    2. Using a stiff putty knife, press the locking clip in the seam between the “hood” and front panel, as shown below. There’s a clip on each side. Raise the top panel up and out of the way. You may want to tape the the lid to the top panel so it doesn’t slam into the wall, thus evoking explicit language.
4353551224_4d366b181c_o.png Now you’ll see two screws, one on each side. Remove ‘em and pull the top of the front panel out toward you. Then just lift the panel off the bottom hinges and there you be.

Dryer makes a humming sound and nothing else

Sounds like your tumbler motor is stuck. Try moving the inside of the dryer. Does it turn freely? If it does then the motor could be defective. If not the dryer tumbler could be jammed.

Coin-operated dryer won't turn off at end of cycle.

A dryer timer is a real simple device. Take the whole thing out and give it a good inspection. A little wd 40 can do wonders. A bad coin in the works can jam it on. Put a coin thru the works, watch the action. The timer motor can fail or get stuck, spray and test.

Frigidaire dryer model number LGQ1442ES0 won't stop spinnin

Ive seen this before. There was actually a coin that had fallen out of the drum and got stuck on one of the contacts, causing it too short. Open the dryer panel, unplug it first, and look for any signs of a coin or somthing shorting a circuit. Thats step one. Hope this helps. Dave
