Question about HP iPAQ h6315/h6365 Pocket PC

H6315 My Ipaq won't turn on.  I used it yesterday and about 8PM and 30 mins later it noticed it was off.  I plugged it to a charging source but nothing happened. No lights come on to indicate it's charging. It doesn't power on while connected to a power source either.  It's been on an AC charger for about 10hrs but the status remains the same.  Can you help?

I have the exact same problem. The Ipaq screen lights on with progress bar progress for about 5 seconds, then dead again. I gave it a final shot:
    1. Remove the battery, and then put it back.
    2. While the screen lights on, within 2 seconds, cold reset the unit by press the hole with stylus and push the power button at top in the same time.
In my case, the progress bar will keep going until I see the tap screen instruction and everything back to normal. But it reminds me that the removable battery is totally discharged. So I put it in cradle and I am able to synch it with my PC. Everything seems o.k. while it sits in the cradle, except the charging light won't turn red.
When I remove it from the cradle, it still lights on, battery shows 99% which is healthy. but when I turned it off, it won't start anymore. I have to repeat the above steps to revive it. Sometimes I have to remove the battery and wait for a while and then put it back, so that the screen can light on to give me chance to cold reset.
Conclusion: Maybe need a new battery. I will check Ebay to get one.
Please post if you have other solutions.

Try this to see it works, when plug in your ipaq to charge or sync with your pc, as the Ipaq screen lights on with progress bar progress, press and hold the on/off button on the upper right until the initial screen appear. After charging up, power off & power on the ipaq normally.

I got the same problem. I even tried to plug the battery to the second battery charging slot, still couldn't get it back to life. But the Ipaq screen lights on with progress bar progress for about 5 seconds, then dead again. I even doubted the battery was toasted.

Pc doesnt see ipaq h6315

Turn off CPU, Unplug Power cable, And all usb devices, let it sit for about 20mins. Plug it all back in. Turn on the CPU! Also make sure if your device requires "DRIVERS" or if you have a CD download and install that before anything.

Replacement Battery

PDA 2005 (as old as)
bad power supply ( weak)
bad battery charger chip inside.
this device has no value, really, why spend hard labor on such old tech? if compelled, buy 2 or 3 other dead 4360s ones, used off fleabay
to get one good one.
There is no PC made that will not fail.
consider this, if you had 2005 Toyoto car and the alternator went
bad , as all do about NOW. do you Boycott, Toyota.
nothing made by man lasts.
even earth is doomed, but not in 11 years.

If it is blinking red, it means that your battery is having issues. Try replacing the battery and see if it fixes the problem.

Connect Flash drive to HP iPAQ h6315

Do you mean a USB "stick" drive? (i.e. like you use with a laptop or desktop?) If so, it won't work since the 6315 does not have a USB host capability -- Some other brand PPCs do support this function, but not HP. Sorry.
