It's not your processor.
Processor run only when motherboard is good. If your motherboard have no power then change it a new and this kind of motherboard are not repairable.

My s88m g/gl motherboard is not switching on ,but the power supply is working

Power supply is other thing, means she ( Power Supply ) supply the power to *********** board. When mother get the power than she supply all the device. If, *********** board have problem, means not connect properly or burn ( any device ) than she not run. Better you check your all connect device with processor also.

as i think ur processor over heated. or processor can dos not work fine or heat sink not installed properly. remove heat sink, and use heat sink component (a whithe colour gel. u can buy it any computer accessories shop) use it top of ur processor then attached heat sink. and connect processor fan. before installing heat sink check processor fan. then cleare CMOS by removeing battery (because this problem also can happen wrong frequency setting in CMOS setting).

Hello,

when all some other parts are good maybe you can replace the the mother board and the power supply.

you should find motherboard replacement that will fit to your processor and Memory.
if the memory , processor, hard drive are good, then you can contact your vendor if the have replacement(mother board) and power supply.

Try plugging the drives into another computer to see if they actually work, ie read discs etc if they do then try swapping the power supply out of your computer.. if this doesn't work then I would say your motherboard is dead. Good luck

Have you replaced the cmos battery(disc shaed flat 3V CR2032), although there could be more sinister problems than this as the mobo or processor may be damaged.
