Question about Insignia IS-LCDTV32 32 in. Television
Hi your problem is going to be a solder problem either caused by the unit over heating ie by the air vents being blocked with dust or a build up of dust around the amp part of the unit.
The first thing to do is get the schematics for your make and model try using search engine to search for one you should be able to find one.
If you fail to find schematics diagramme then take the back off the telly and follow the speaker leads till they get to the board then have a look around this area probably need magnifying glass to look properly.
You will need to check all resistors around this part of the board and also look underneath at the solder points on the board as your problem sounds like that it is getting hot then the solder is not connecting properly and disrupting the circuit.
But because of this all resistors will need to be checked around this area as the solder shorting and not giving proper connection this will cause resistors to blow check these for swelling or burning.
The chances are it is going to be a solder problem but this will need locating and re soldering.
But remember that a telly is live for 24 hours or more after you switch it off and unplug it so beware of this as a short could destroy the telly.
If you are unsure what you are doing please leave it to a pro as you could destroy the whole unit also you will need a good fine soldering iron and correct solder and make sure you only solder the bad point as geting solder on anything else will cause whole unit to short.
So please leave to expert if you are unsure as experts will have equipment to test the board and find where the bad solder is.
As the problem only happens after a short time then it is going to be a solderr problem if you need further assistance then let me know ok
