My Roper model #RT18AKXKQ05 is leaking water into the refrigerator from the freezer via the part in the back of the freezer. I can't find any help in the Use and Care Guide? What do I need to do in order for this to stop.

It sounds to me like the drain is plugged in the freezer. When the freezer goes into defrost the water vapor gets pulled up by the fan and blows into the fresh food side via the air baffle in the back of the fresh food side. Take the back cover off the freezer and break up the ice and pour some hot water down the drain and if you have a small hose to shove down the drain and that will help you out as well...good luck!!!!

My Roper refrigerator has water inside it at the bottom and on lower level shelves. How can I correct this?

That water is from the melting frost of the automatic defrost cycle. Their is drain in the freezer behind the back wall under the evaperator coil that is blocked, so instead of defrost water draining it's pooling in the freezer or in some case espically on models with the freezer on the top,the water is leaking from the freezer vents into the fresh food compartment.
The way to clear the drain is remove back plate and remove all ice build up and GENTLY make a small hole in drain through then totally flush w/warm water.
The exact location of drain is under the coil behind back freezer plate in the center

Good luck

I hope this helps

I need to remove the drain cover on the inside of refrigerator. It is a top freezer model number RT18AKXKQ05. Drain line is clogged and I need to take off the drain cover to uncllot it

You just pull it up the drain cover and get a flexible solid wire match the drain hole tube so it can penetrate the tubing. Slowly pull flexible wire to the drain hole back and forth until clogged is gone. Rinse it with clean water and pullout drain pan to clean it thoroughly.
Thanks for asking.

Water coming from freezer into refrigerator otherwise appears to be working ok

I will try to give you a better idea of how and why this happens. The problem is that every different model has a different way of leaking. Like a side by side if the defrost condensate drain line is blocked the water will at most leak inside freezer. With a single top freezer the water may just leak down into the fresh food section. Freezer leaks into refrigerator

The most likely cause for this is the defrost condensate collector tray below the evaporator is frozen over and the back panel in the back of freezer will need to be removed after disconnecting the power. Then defrost the tray and pour warm water with a mixture of Clorox in the drain to make sure the water drains to the pan below the refrigerator that is near the compressor. If you continue to have problems I will send links that may be more helpful for this problem. Sea Breeze

Kenmore elite - Water dripping from freezer to refrigerator

Your refrigerator has a defrost drain blockage behind the evaporator in your your freezer compartment. Some models like yours have leak in the turns as the water leaves the freezer. I recommend that you unplug and remove the cover to the evaporator and check the defrost condensate tray below the evaporator. A wet vacuum cleaner and poring a solution with clorox in the drain will help you clean locate the leak and where the blockage may be downline.. I do have the manual on yours and can help you solve this. Some times this is a factory defect and I can help you solve the freezing drain problem. Let me know, Sea Breeze
