Question about Microsoft ZUNE JS8BRPBDLUG MP3 Player
My pc is not recognizing my zune. I connected it and it shows that is charging but is not being recognized as pluggend in to the computer.
Try different PCs, if it doesn't connect on any of them you have a broken logic board. The Zune logic board isnot too hard to replace. A good source for the part would be ebay. ButThere is a stepby step guide too that explainshow to replace the board : Zune repair. There are also third party Zune repair companies that do it for you.

Try rebooting the computer, starting the Zune software and plugging it in again. If this doesn't fix the problem, try uninstalling/reinstalling Zune software, then reboot the computer and plug it in again. If it still doesn't work, then the computer will have to be restored to an earlier date where the pc recognized the zune.
