We just had a full split system installed. I am getting a cold air leak from the cabinet that contains the coil. Should this part of the system be well sealed or is leakage of cold air normal?

That part should be well sealed as well as all of the air system. Leaks in the air duct reduce system efficiency.

Kelvinator a/c blowing out room temp air on hot or cold

Could be a few things. Is the outdoor unit running? If not, it could be an electrical problem is sensors, control board, wiring, maybe the settings are nor right on the remote. If the outdoor is running and its still not blowing hot or cold, it may have a gas leak.. I have made these assumptions that it is aKelvinator split system? 1 easy attempt that you can try is a full system reset. Turn off the machine at its isolator (usually next to the outdoor unit) or at the Meyer box. Leave off for at least15 mins. Turn back on and see if it works. Good luck

I have a split system air conditioner that quit blowing cold air

either the compressor is not running or you have a leak and are low on freon. the outside fan running does not tell you the compressor is running.

Maytag washing machine model a 210 (1982) leaks above filler. how do i get into cabinet to check natureof/cause of leak?

see this cause and fix it:
During fill only
air/gap deformed or crack , replace see the diagram
the rubber tube run between water inlet valve and air gap can cause leak +inlet spout can be crack cause leak replace.
During drain and spin only
inspect main drain hose and fix it. steel or plastic outer rub can be rust, split if this happen you must replace the entire outer tub.

All the time
check the hot and cold hoses water tighting or replace
main tube seal leaking
pump defective leaking.replace
outer tube, split , rust, causing leak, replace
see the diagram
God bless you

On our 2005 Town and Country, the heater does not heat up for a long time, then it gets hot and then cold. Occasionally the temperature gage goes to warning light hot but this is about once every 3 to 4...

I assume you have checked the cooling system to ensure that first, that it is completely full of coolant (not just the overflow tank) and second that there are no leaks anywhere. Your description indicates either low coolant level and/or air locks in the cooling system. Only check coolant level when engine is cold. If it needs topping up, add coolant and then run engine at idle with heat control on full, until it reaches operating temperature, topping up as necessary. Allow cooling fans to cycle on and off a few times to ensure all air is purged from system. If coolant was low, then check regularly when engine is warm to see if you can find where the coolant is leaking. The places where the hoses connect to the metal pipes around the engine are the most likely points of leakage or a hose could have weakened and split.

If coolant level is OK and there are no leaks then it could mean a faulty water pump.

I have a mr slim model PUY-A18NHA3 Mini split. it is completely installed however it will not get cold it blows room temp air. I have checked for leaks and have none. i am not sure why it will not get...

You need to check the protection for the compressor has not failed. Other causes can be thermostat / pressure switch Low gas pressure Maintenance codes - any showing? Operator settings - timer/sleep/fan only etc..

Does not heat or cool

Hi, If the outdoor unit is running, make sure the fan is on also. If the system is new and has just been installed, it sounds like you may have a freon leak and have lost all its freon. Turn it on cool and let it run for a few minutes. Go outside and grab hold of the larger copper line coming out of the unit. It should be nice and cold and sweating. If not, and the fan and compressor are up and running, you have a leak and lost its charge. Check this and get back to me and let me know what you have found. We can go from there.

PS, When these installers put these units in, they sometimes get in a hurry and there welds are not very good and will leak over time, just to let you know.
