Question about Intel (P42000400512SK478) Pentium 4, 2 GHz Processor
Hi, I have a packard bell tower pentium2,(serial number 73931-640-3906935-57359.) (product key number = P6GK6-PYDJY-XB9Y9-TK3RX-CV67M.) I am trying to get back into windows but havent got a install disc, please tell me if there is a solution other than buying expensive disc from microsoft.. i bought my pc about 3 yrs ago 2nd hand,, rob
Hi Rob, unfortunatly there is no legal way to load Windows XP without your own disk. Microsoft only allow this to be loaded on one computer per disk and you can not use a friends disk as each computer has its own electronic signature. this is recorded when XP is activated and the disk key is recorded with that signature so it can not be used on more than the one computer.
