Try CPC or Willow Vale. They are both online companies.

I turn the unit on I have power to the unit. I put a tape in to play and the tape does not play. nothing happens. the last time I used it was about one year ago.is there some kind of belt drive motor or...

The belt drive unit is only ran by a SMALL rubber band. It may be that the actual band is broken or the motor itself is shot. Unplug the stereo from the wall and remove the cover CAREFULLY, look in at the tape drive and check the "RUBBER BAND" first.

Disk will notcome out

Hi Carol,

This is an educated guess but if your deck is older there are eject mechanisms on them. They are belt driven if they are stretched out or broken the disc will not eject on most of them.

Depending on age the belts which are glorified rubber bands last about 10 years or less then need replacement so my best guess is the drive band for the ejector is in pieces in your deck.

Replacement bands are available on ebay, this is not the only possibly answer to your problem but my best guess from your limited description. Note you cannot replace a broken band with an o ring or rubber band or a similar band as they will not work correctly...

Repair cassette deck, rubber band changeing-for drive wheel? how can i fix a new rubber band without demolishing the whole electronic and other parts...is there a trick to do that. and from where can i get...

Knowing cassette makers I doubt there will be a simple way to do it. You could look for the service manual, but I wouldn't hold out hope for a trick!
All you need to do with the belt is measure the diameter in MM and search for it on Google as "Cassette Drive Belt ??MM". The measurement does not have to be spot on!
They are not maker specific mostly. And don't worry about the colour.
PS make notes about how it fits together or take pictures! Before you dissmantle it.

Rubber bands

Drive belts are universal. Just measure the diameter of the old belts in MM and put that and the words "Cassette Drive Belt ...mm" into Google.

Replacing bands

Since the belts control the timing of the mechanism, I would not recommend this as a home repair. While relatively simple compared to some, this still is a delicate repair that can easily go wrong. Please bring this unit to an audio repair shop. Expect a parts cost in the $15-$20 range. There are 3 belts inside.
