Question about Hotpoint Ovens
Need to set the clock on a Hotpoint BS21 fan oven. The Hotpoint BS21 I am talking about has 3 buttons about the size of a penny underneath the digital display. One marked +, One marked - and the other with an arrow on it. I have lost the manual but remember that it was a combination of presses to these buttons to do it.
I have seen another post on this site stating that the following link is the manual I require
but this is not the one

I found the manual online. Apparently my unit is malfunctioning and should work by just pressing bake temp and then selecting the temp...

I come across this problem often, particularly with no manual. I turn the oven to ON. I then just muck around with the buttons until I find the manual setting. As soon as you find the manual setting the oven indicator will light. You can normally work it out quickly. But make sure the oven is turned to on whilst you are doing this.

Check the oven to ensure that it is off and that the timer isn't running. The buttons used to set the clock are the same buttons that adjust the oven, and you may end up making unintended adjustments to the oven.
Press the "Clock" button to enter the clock setting mode. The LCD will show the current time set on the oven.
Use the "Set Temp/Time +" or "Set Temp/Time -" buttons to adjust the clock to the current time. Depending on your model of stove you may need to use the "Hour," "Min" or the "Temp/Hour" up and down arrow buttons to set the time.
Save the new clock setting by pressing the "Start" button. Depending on your stove model, you may need to press the "Clock" button a second time if the "Start" button does not work.
