How do I configure a BEFSX41 to be an access point

How do I configure a BEFSX41 to be an access point (router only)? I've given up on using it to access the internet due to connection problems. I switched my Belkin 54G from an access point to the main router but I still would like to use the Linksys for extra wired outlets (plugged into the Belkin). I turned of NAT and DHCP. Is there anything else I need to do? What do I set the "Internet Connection Type" value to? Thanks!

If you have a modem and a router the two needs to have seperate Ip address. For exmaple I have a westell 6100 G modem with a wrt54g speedbooster router. I have my modem local ip set at 192.168.1.1 and my router local ip set at 192.168.9.1. I got my router on to do the dchp starting address with 192.168.9.15. Plug your cable from the modem into the wan port of the router and it sould work.
