The firewall is blocking the connection. Turn off all computers. Turn off router and modem. In this order, turn them all back on. First modem, wait one minute. Next router, wait one minute. Last, all computers. You should have connection now.

The ipod touch won't let mei into my music page?

Hi,
There is no method to recover the password or bypass it. Apple very clearly says this in their manual. Now that we have this cleared.

You will need to restore the ipod. I know this sucks but unfortunately this is the only way to start using it again.

To restore iPod.

1 Make sure you have an Internet connection and have installed the latest version of iTunes from www.apple.com/itunes. 2 Connect iPod touch to your computer. 3. Open iTunes. It will show up as a device. 4. Select iPod touch in the iTunes sidebar and click the Summary tab. You will see the details of your device along with link to restore ipod.

click this 'Restore' button. You will get a warning that it will erase all data, settings and music. Click Yes. Follow onscreen instructions.
It can take you upto 4 hours to restore your ipod again depending on the size of your data.

Disc mode

Hi

as u told tat u trie to reset the ipod...
once again try this out

  1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
if not

connect it to ur computer and try

  1. Ensure that you have an active Internet connection as new versions of iTunes and iPod Software may need to be downloaded to your computer.
  2. Download and install the latest version of iTunes if you do not already have it installed.
  3. Open iTunes, and then connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
  4. After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
  5. Select your iPod in the Source panel and you will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes windows.
  6. Click the Restore button. You will be prompted with one or more restore options that may prompt iTunes to automatically download the latest iPod Software. The 4 possible restore options are:
    1. Restore Option 1: Restore - Restores with same iPod Software version already on iPod.
    • Restore Option 2: Use Same Version - Restores with same iPod Software version already on iPod even though a newer version is available.
    • Restore Option 3: Use Newest Version - Restores with the latest iPod Software available.
    • Restore Option 4: Restore and Update - Restores with the latest iPod Software available.
    1. If you are using a Mac, a message will appear prompting you to enter an administrator’s name and password.
    2. A progress bar will appear on the computer screen indicating that the first stage of the restore process has started. When this stage is completed, iTunes will present one of two messages on screen with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
    1. Restore Instruction 1: Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
    • Restore Instruction 2: Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
    1. During the stage 2 of the restore process, the iPod will show an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remains connected to the computer or iPod Power adapter during this stage. Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see since the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
    2. After stage 2 of the restore process is complete and the iPod is connected to the computer, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear asking you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences similar to when you connected your iPod for the first time.

    this will reslove ur issue

    1. Tap Settings > Wi-Fi Networks, then pick the network.
    2. In the DHCP panel, select the Renew Lease button.

    1. Make sure you have an Internet connection and have installed iTunes 7.4 or later from www.apple.com/itunes. Apple recommends using the latest version of iTunes.
    2. Connect iPhone or iPod touch to your computer.
    3. In iTunes, select iPhone or iPod touch in the Source pane and click the Summary tab.

    IPod touch freezes

Hello! This problem is if you messed around with your iPod Touch a lot like hacking it. I hacked it before so I restored it so now it is very good! It is now version 1.1.2. Okay, if you want to fix this problem, hold the home button and the power button for 20-30 seconds until a yellow exclamation mark shows up to tell you to connect to iTunes, this worked for my friend's screwed up iPod Touch. Try this method okay? After you connected it to iTunes, check for updates right away and there you go!

    Hope this works!
