LT32HVE cannot access menu screen

My LT32HVE has started behaving strangely...all of the color settings (hue, contrast, brightness, etc) have been maxed out, and pressing the menu button on the tv or the remote causes the set to reboot.
My television does something similar, not everything is maxed though and it does not reset when i press menu, but iam not able to adjust anything(color, brightness etc.) more than one notch down or up,(from 50- 51 or 50 - 49) it doesn't let me adjust anymore. once i turn off thetv and turn it back on, the colors are reset to how it was before(very bright)
