Yamaha outboard 90/65 4stroke jet only getting 5000 rpms. New motor with 6 hours on19' flat bottom boat. Tach is flashing a engine symbol. Suggestions?

The amount of RPM's on a boat motor depend on a number of things...
1. Height if the motor in relation to the bottom of the boat. - too high and it over rev's.. Too low and it won't rev..
2. The correct size (O.D.) of the prop. Too large and you have mechanical interference or too large for the motor to spin...- ..Too small and the motor will over rev!!
3. The correct pitch of the prop. - Too large/big of pitch and the motor can't spin it..-.. too small and it will over rev the motor.
..... these are the big three...
Now, Make sure the carburetor butterfly(s) are opening exactly flat or vertical ...and not under/over opening..if this is a fuel injected motor...have the dealer check it out..

I need to replace one of the valves for the burners on the cook top. Where can I get one

Looks like your range uses 2 different valves. The large burners use part #317227701 which is no longer available. Small burners use part #R0150174 which can be ordered from Marcone Appliance Parts. If your problem is with one of the large burner valves, you might be able to order one for the smaller burner valves and use the old orifice.

I have a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 4x4 6.0 liter engine. This vehicle has engine oil cooler located the radiator tank drivers side. I have developed a coolant leak located where the upper threaded...

The procedure you are thinking about doing is the correct procedure but you need to know that there is a rubber seal behind the large nut. Best to remove the line, remove the large nut and replace the rubber seal. Overtorquing the nut will crack the plastic radiator tank. Double check BOTH fluid levels and conditions when finished.

Washer won't start. Display shows "od"?

od is an open door error if the door is closed then you would have to replace the door switch or the wiring that goes to the door switch first try to open and close the door and make sure it seats properly in the small hasp type holder if the error code still persists then check the wiring to the switch and if the wiring looks like everything is connected well then you would have to order a new door switch i hope this helps in your appliance situation and please remember to rank this solution if you have any more questions please message me back. Have a great day

Sequence for the push rods for the intake & exhaust on a 2001 Grand Am GT there are 3 long ones & 3 short ones, While replacing the intake manifold gaskets, I forgot where they go!!!!

The valves that are furthest from the intake, on the outside perimeter of the head, closest to the spark plugs are small diameter valves. These valves use the short rods. The valves that are [non-uniformly] on the interior of the head use the large diameter valves. These valves use the long push rods. This is not due to the diameter, but do to the proximity of the valve on the head with respect to the rod length required to push it. So, looking at a picture of the "front head," closest to the front of the car, from underneath will verify that diameters are small - large - large - small - large - small. Inspecting from above you should note the order of valves as outside - interior - interior - outside - interior - outside. And if you invert that same head to the "rear head" configuration (180o) it would become small - large - small - large - large - small (outside - interior - outside - interior - interior - outside).

The answer is this:
The rear head (2-4-6) will have push-rods in the following configuration:
short - long - short - long - long - short

The front head (1-3-5) will have push-rods in the following configuration:
short - long - long - short - long - short

Pipes are usually measured by what is known as ID and OD. ID simply stands for inside diameter while OD stands for outside diameter. If the pipe you have going to the converter is 2 1/4 OD you would need the converter to have a 2 1/4 ID in order for the pipe to fit properly inside and to assure good sealing with a 2 1/4 clamp. Or welding is always an option...either way same rules apply.
