I have used an Iphone and a Ipod on the computer in the past. When I was trying the transfer the pics from the Sony it was the only device plugged into my PC. I had created a file and named it and was in the middle of transferring the pics from the Sony cyber shot when I realized that the camera was about to copy 645 pics to my pv file. I only wanted certain ones so I cancelled the transfer so I could go back and pic the ones I specifically wanted to trnsfer. At that point the Cyber shot went dead and I could not get it to power back on.

First thing yo need to do is check to that the cradle (charger) is actually charging. Do you have access to a meter. Does the transformer feel warm If it's cold, it's dead and that's the problem.

    1. Make sure that you are using a fully charged battery with the Camera.

    2. Disconnect the Camera from the Computer. Remove the battery from the Camera and press and hold the Power button of the Camera for 30 seconds.

    3. Now, insert the battery in the Camera after one minute and then try turning ON the Camera.

    Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I were in your situation, I would stop trying to download to my computer. I would take the card to my nearest Walmart store and use one of their picture kiosk machines to either print all of the pics or even make a CD copy of them.

I am unable to upload my pics from my cyber shot sony i am geting only short cuts logs so kinldy let me known the problem and were can i get sony cyber shot drivers

I don't think the problem is the driver. If you can get the shortcuts to copy over, then your connection is OK. The problem is that when you drag and drop, you are not getting a copy but a shortcut to the original. This seems to be the default behaviour of your drag and drop setting (or other method you are using to copy).

I assume you are using Windows Vista or 7, and I don't know how you change the default in those OS, but the work around is to drag and drop with the right-hand mouse button. Then a dialogue will pop up asking you to choose between (among other options) Move, Copy, or Create Shortcut. You will want to select Copy to make copies on your computer, or Move to copy to your computer AND delete the pic from the camera.

How do i tranfer pictures from internal to the memory stick on a sony w55 cybershot

Firstly go to Menu and select the appropriate files of pics that you want transferred. Then from the menu select Move. Then specify where you want them moved, ie, the memory card. And the files would be transferred to the memory card and removed from the camera memory. Also, you must set the camera such that in future it stores all pics to the memory card itself.

Sony cyber-shot dsc-w150 display always reads "remaining shots 4"

In the menu you most likely have the size size at or near maximum. This uses up a lot of space on your card. Try reducing the size.

Sony cyber-shot DSC-W35

you might just want to buy a memory stick adaptor for your memory stick and insert it in the pc memory stick duo slot.. its alot faster to transfer pictures like that anyway.. I wouldnt worry about connecting the camera to the pc, all it does it is consume battery power and transferring pictures takes a litttle bit longer.  But if you do connect with usb, make sure its hooked on properly and you have plenty of battery power.
