Hello, I checked the pop server on my machine and it brought in an email and proceeded to print it. 30 pages of giberish and it won't stop and I cannot figure out a way to clear it. Job Cancel does nothing. I unplugged it for a couple hours and that did not clear it. Menu 26 shows nothing. Could you please tell me how to clear the memory. There is nothing in storage and it is turned off. Thank you. John

Hi. I would suggest that you unplug the printer, reinstall software and check you computer for viruses. If i continues, try letting it print out. maybe someone set so that 30 pages with a smiley would be printed next time you plugged it in. I how this will fix you problem.
Large photos are printed differently than regular photos.
Photos that have large resolutions or are best when printed in larger
sizes are sometimes printed on multiple pages. Printing the photo on
two or more pages requires setting up the printing options so that the
printer recognizes how the photo should print and which areas to stop
printing on each page.
Open the photo in iphoto
Select "File" and scroll down the list until reaching "Print". Click
on "Print" and wait for the printing set up options. Some programs
require selecting "Set up" or "Print set up" instead of "Print." Make
sure the set up options are brought up according to the program.
Select "Time Imageable Table" or similar options in the program. If
there is not an option with a similar title, look over the various
titles and any pictures that come with the titles and see if the
pictures show multiple pages or only a single page. Click on the
options that allow printing one photo on multiple pages.
Select overlap options, which give margins so that connecting the pages forms the picture. Overlap around 1/2 inch or so.
Print the photo. The number of pages should match the set up options selected under the imageable table.
If the machine only prints blank pages it is because the print head is blocked. Press the "ink" button on the machine and perform up to a maximum of 5 cleanings. If this fails then call Brother at 1-877-276-8437 or write them an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
There might be a problem with your print head. If you get in touch with them they can check your serial number and if it is within the warranty period they will send you a replacement machine. They off free tech support for life so even if they can't replace the machine, calling them or emailing them is free.
More than likely their is a problem with the file or that it is too large to process and has gotten stuck in the que on the copier. Go into printer set up and find restart server or clear server - it's ussually at the back end of all the settings. You want to clear the server and restart it. Then try printing a few pages of the file to see if their is an issue with it. If that prints then print half of the file, if it's has a lot of graphics pick a smaller chunk. You can also restart the server through the copiers internal web page - to get to that type the copiers ip address into internet explorer and it should bring it up.
In printing web pages and email please try to check also the print setting before you print the page cause word document files and web pages are not the same in there printing setting. Web pages and emails has different setting so my recommendation is that when you print email and webpages next time then please check the printer settings then modify it the same settings as you wish or as your word document's output. Thanks
Hello sir;Try to print one page, when the paper process half way then stop the machine, remove the cartridge, check the paper is wrinkling, if yes ,that's meanspaper feed roller dirty or registration roller slipply, ortherwise, check the fusing unit, need to replace presure roller. The 2nd issue, you need to replace paper stop roller or rubber pad.
I have had a similar issue with both laserjet 3005N and 1320N machines setup as network printers on a windows 2003 print server. Both machines install correctly and print test pages but once you push to much of a print job to it (in my case it was a 12mb pdf file) the printer stops printing and never prints again for some reason. After a quick reboot a test page will print but what gives?? Buffer issues? Not enough ram? None of this makes sense since the printer displays nothing and just stops printNo test pages or anything. I tried re-installing it and rebooting it. Nothing.
Make sure the status and configuration of the print server. Check following:
1 Make sure that the machine is powered on, is on-line and ready to print.
2 Print the Network Configuration List of the machine and check if the settings such as IP address settings
are correct for your network. The problem may be the result of mismatched or duplicate IP address.
Verify that the IP address is correctly loaded into the print server. And make sure that no other nodes on
the network have this IP address.
3 Verify that the print server is on your network as follows:
(1) Try pinging the print server from the host operating system command prompt with the command:
Where ipaddress is the print server IP address (note that in some instances it can take up to two
minutes for the print server to load its IP address after setting the IP address).
(2) If a successful response is received, then proceed to Windows® 98/98SE/Me Peer-to-Peer print
(LPR) troubleshooting. Otherwise, proceed to Step 4.
4 Reset the print server back to the default factory settings and try from the initial setup again. For
information how to reset to the default factory settings, see Restoring the network settings to factory in the manual.
