Question about Oregon Scientific Oregon Gator Mulcher 3-N-1 Blade For 50-Inch Cub Cadet Lawn Mowers #90-656
With the engine turned OFF, unplug the wire connector at the PTO clutch, and use an alternate 12 volt DC power source and some alligator clips to manually power-up the clutch. If a firm, crispy "Click" is heard each time you "power-on / power-off" the clutch, then safety switches on the tractor are the most likely suspects.
If no firm, crispy "Click" is heard, your PTO clutch needs to be replaced.
On the right-hand side of THIS page, type in (without spaces) RZT50 and you will be given a list to choose your EXACT machine & part number.
If your part number description says to refer to "Service Advisory ...(blah blah)" then you will need to call a servicing dealership for the proper replacement part number.
Hope this helps.
