Question about Casio fx-300ES Calculator

Hello,

To make sure that results are always in decimal format, put a decimal mark (point) at the end of one integer.

ex: **1./2 or 1/2. **or** 1./2.** display as 0.5, so does **1. + 1/2**

To convert from decimal to fraction and from fraction to decimal press **a b/c**

To convert from proper to improper fractions use **[SHIFT][d/c] **

Hope it helps.

Hello,

To convert fractions to decimals or decimals to fractions, you use the [S<->D] key. Each time you press the key the result is displayed in the other format.

Alternatively, If you multiply or divide two integer numbers put a decimal mark at the end of one of the numbers (any one). The result will be displayed in decimal format.

Hope it helps.

There is a button there that says "S<=>D". Compute it first and when the result is in fraction, press this and it will be in decimals. This button is just above the DEL button.
